How to Use Kiwi

Kiwi has three specially-designed ends for different kinds of massage. Plus, Kiwi comes with expert-guided video tutorials, so you'll feel supported every step of the way!

How to Use Kiwi

Kiwi comes with expert-guided tutorials, so you'll feel supported every step of the way!

1. Start Broad
Release tension in lower abs, inner thighs, glutes

Tension in the butt, belly, and thighs can contribute to internal muscle tension. That's why starting to massage these areas is a great first step, experimenting with different massage ends and vibration.

2. Ride the Bikini Line
Explore around the vulva, clitoris, perineum

Stimulation of external ~bits~ can relax the pelvic floor, desensitize pain, and introduce pleasure. Start with the perineum, and explore the labia, clitoris, and other parts of the vulva.

3. Shallow Dive
Ease into penetration at your own pace

Shallow insertion with clitoral vibration can re-train your muscles and nervous system, helping you feel safe and comfortable. And that's the goal! To feel comfortable and in control when there's penetration in your play.

The Science Behind the Design

For over a year, our team has spent hundreds of hours researching and collaborating with expert clinicians to make the world's first and only device made to relieve entry pain in a way that feels good.

Birth Prep + Rehab

Birth Prep + Rehab

  • Prenatal perineal stretching can reduce the risk of significant tearing, episiotomy, and long-term postpartum pain.,

  • Perineal massage during birth can reduce the risk of tearing and episiotomy, and may shorten the duration of the 1st and 2nd stages of labor.

  • Postpartum perineal scar tissue massage is a common treatment strategy for post-baby vulvar pain. More studies coming soon!

Solo + Partner Use

    Amazing!

As someone with vulvodynia, I can't recommend kiwi enough. It's easy to use and improved my sex life immensely! Pain is usually 6/10 and this made it 1/10 after using for just a short time. Thank you for your product! It truly is improving lives!

A Godsend after just one use

The pain I experienced with penetration has been so severe that in my 20+ post-pubescent years I’ve only been able to have one successful pelvic exam and just the idea of penetrative sex terrifies me. My pelvic floor dysfunction has gotten so bad that I had exploratory surgery and a hysterectomy for suspected endometriosis and adenomyosis, and I’ve developed lumbar stenosis and cannot stand more than 20 minutes without crippling symptoms. After months of seeing ads and waffling back and forth on the investment, I decided to try this in combination with my home PT program. It arrived today and with just one session working around my thighs and hips I can already feel a difference in my generalized pain. I can’t wait to see the difference it’ll make as I fully incorporate it into my exercises. For the first time ever I actually have hope for my future pelvic exams, sex life, and getting my overall mobility back. Thank you! 🙏🏻

    Kiwi made me confident!

For years I had been struggling with insertion and had a lot of anxiety because of the pain and discomfort I felt anytime penetration was attempted. I honestly felt so defeated. I felt like my partner and I were never going to have an enjoyable sex life, or I’d never be able to go to a gyno appointment with ease.

Kiwi has been such a game changer for me. It is much less intimidating than dilators or other PT tools and it’s a comfort to know that you are in control and it is only shallow insertion. The vibration has really helped relax my pelvic floor, and has been helping make insertion much easier! Kiwi is so calming and makes attempting pelvic floor therapy less daunting. Thanks to kiwi, I’ve upgraded to dilators (which is something I could not do before)! I highly recommend this product. It has given me the confidence to explore my body and try new things in an effective and comfortable way. Thanks Pelvic People for creating this product (:

Least Painful Toy I've Ever Owned....only one issue

The packaging is discrete, it's nice and sleek, good color, comes with a charger and a bag as well as clinician videos and tips which is really really nice.

It's the least pain I've ever had using a toy, and it makes sex feel good. Pretty basic escalating vibration settings, if that matters to you, but I prefer that. The charge time is fast and it seems to last a long time.

Only one or two issues, which aren't deal breakers honestly, but I felt like it was good to say:

    1. The buttons are super hard to access once the Kiwi is actually being used, especially if you're using it by yourself. For the record, they are on the side and pretty far down, which, when inserted, makes it hard to find when trying to shut it off.

    2. It's pretty loud compared to some other toys I have. If you were playing music or something it might cover the lower settings, but once you speed up it becomes pretty hard to ignore.

I don't regret buying it. I'll use it all the time. It's nice for when you want a little penetration but you don't want the pain and stretch that comes with deeper penetration. If that's an issue for you too, it's a good idea to get this!

Worth it! (Depending on what you need)

I've been on the path of pelvic floor health and physical therapy for a decade now. Due to progressive neuropathy, I experience both vaginismus and vulvodynia. Given the chronic nature of my condition, I have done it all in terms of pelvic floor PT and interventions. The #1 at home therapy tool I would recommend (especially if you have vaginismus) is the Intimate Rose Wand - at $50 price point it's great for deep muscle release work and also has vibration to help defuse pain. However, I have been truly impressed with the Kiwi and give it a close second place (especially if you have more vulvar centric and vestibular vaginal pain). I'm impressed with the design and the aim to increase blood flow to the tissue to help with pain. The shallow pointed end is great for pressure points too. I know the journey with pelvic pain is rough, and there are a lot of people out there trying to monetize that pain (and honestly most of it is junk). So take it from a gal who's been around this block quite a few times over - this is the real deal.
