🩸 Increasing blood flow

😌 Creating positive associations with genital touch

💪 Introducing insertion in a way that's comfortable in the user's control

How does Kiwi work?

Tools are only helpful if you want to use them—that's why Kiwi was designed to feel good instead of like another item on a long to-do list

Kiwi is a massage tool designed for:

  • - Working tension out of muscle groups like the glutes, adductors, and lower abdominals—like a really gentle theragun!
  • - Relaxing the superficial pelvic floor muscles without ever needing to insert something into the body
  • - Shallow dilation and clockwork exercises to release the muscles around the vaginal and anal openings

Pain at the vaginal and anal openings can lead to a lot of fear and avoidance around activities like penetrative sex, tampon usage, pelvic exams, or any kind of genital touch. That's why Kiwi was designed to:

  • - Be useful without requiring insertion
  • - Look friendly, not overly phallic
  • - Only be insertable up to 1.5"
  • - Exploratory, not prescriptive

Pleasure is an important piece of the puzzle for people who are used to experiencing pain with genital touch! Kiwi helps softly introduce positive touch by:

  • - Encouraging external exploration before trying internal work
  • - Inclusion of two motors with 4 frequency settings, from gentle to strong vibration
  • - Framing vibration more around the health benefits rather than a strictly pleasure focus for more sexually conservative patients and communities

4 things to tell every patient

See how our product helps you achieve results over time

"Start external"

Start with simple, low pressure external work, so the body can feel safe before moving on to more challenging areas or sensations

"Use lube!"

Nobody likes rug burn. A water-based lube is your best friend when using Kiwi

"Don't go past a 3-4 on the pain scale"

This can be uncomfortable work. In order to keep it feeling safe and doable (and to prevent pain flares or lasting muscular soreness), make sure that pain is staying at a tolerable level. If you reach that 5-6 range, stop or move to a different area for a while

"End on a positive note!"

Take breaks when it gets uncomfortable physically or emotionally. This can be hard work! Massage a different area, just use the vibration, or do something grounding or relaxing for a bit. Whatever you decide to do, it's best to end your work with Kiwi feeling good!

Other ways to use Kiwi

Intuitive, versatile, and non-intimidating

Many customers have reported when they use Kiwi before dilators, they're able to work more comfortably and make progress faster

Kiwi isn't just for muscles—it can also be used to help the colon along when constipation rears its head

Kiwi isn't just for the pelvis and lower extremities! Customers have told us they enjoy using Kiwi on their jaws, trapezius muscles, etc.

Part of the magic of Kiwi is that it can be easily brought into partnered contexts—either to assist with pelvic floor release or as a pleasure tool

There's evidence (both anecdotal and a growing body of scientific research) that vibration can make gynecologic procedures more comfortable. Either to use for relaxation ahead of time, as a pain relief option during birth, and in the belly button during IUD insertion

People ask this all the time! While Kiwi can be used as a vibrator, it was designed first and foremost to be a versatile myofascial release tool. In the same way that a vibrating pelvic wand isn't just a vibrator, Kiwi isn't just a vibrator

Every order comes in a plain brown box without the company name

Kiwi is water-resistant and can be washed with mild, fragrance-free soap and warm water

Kiwi currently uses a pin charger that plugs in at the base of the device. To turn on, press down on one button for 3-5 seconds. Kiwi will not turn on if it is plugged in

What patients + clinicians are saying

Game changer!

I have been using Kiwi for the past year for vaginismus. I use it along with dilators and have also been seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist. I am happy to report that me and my partner are finally able to have penetrative intercourse after years of avoiding it because of pain and discomfort. There is still some discomfort but it's very manageable and is getting better over time. I used Kiwi regularly in the shower for massage and shallow entry and the results specifically for entry pain have been pretty great! Give it a shot, it might be a game changer for you too :) All the best on your journey, there is light at the end of this tunnel <3

awesome for vaginismus

using the kiwi has allowed me to go up in sizes with my dilators much faster than before. i’ve gone to pelvic floor physical therapy for about six months, which helped me greatly to get to a point where i could actually insert my finger and small dilators without pain. but, having the kiwi makes putting in big dilators (right now i’m at size 4 of 6) much much more pleasurable. i used to not associate penetration with pleasure at allll, but now, penetration with dilators has become something i look forward to with the kiwi. using the kiwi to first massage the outer pelvic floor, then inner, then pressing the kiwi to the base of my dilator so that the dilator vibrates, has made such a difference. if you have vaginismus, i would definitely get the kiwi. good luck to everyone out there with vaginismus, it sucksss, but we’re gonna stretch those muscles and come out on top!!!

Yes to pain relief but also YESsssSssSss

I'm 40 and spent my entire sexual life with entry pain due to endometriosis, thinning from estrogen suppression, injury as a child (sledding accident), and pelvic floor dysfunction. I had surgeries. I did dilator therapy, I did pelvic floor and opening Botox. I had sex using numbing cream. I just accepted that this was life and I'd done all I could be done, maxed out pelvic floor PT, and sex would just always at the very least, start painful. This changed all that. I'm not over selling it. It brought elasticity back to an area that was experiencing chronic tearing. It brought back sensation that was pleasant. Can we also talk about how it's actually also an amazing vibrator too? Medical use aside! They should start using this in clinical trials and studies. Because it worked, and I convinced my insurance to cover it. We all deserve this level of help.

Miracle!

I’m 3 months postpartum with my second and I purchased this about 8 weeks postpartum. I had entry pain and deep pain after my first baby and I healed by pelvic floor through physical therapy. I did my homework and it took a long time to have pain free sex, or even manageable penetration. I don’t know if the extent to my pain this second time around is less than with my first, so it’s hard to compare my two recoveries fairly, but this thing is so empowering, easy to use, and has me confident each time that I’ll be able to not only get through intercourse, but enjoy myself. There is a big difference if I try to have sex without using the kiwi first. I am happy to incorporate this into the routine, this is a life changing product.

The only thing that has worked for my vaginismus

I want to start off by saying that I never write reviews, but I had to after my experience with Kiwi. I have had vaginismus for years and was never able to have penetrative sex. I couldn't even wear a tampon. I worked with PT for a couple months and tried dilator therapy, but I just kept losing motivation because of how slow the progress was and how painful it felt. About a month ago, I saw ads for Kiwi, and I decided to try it out since nothing else seemed to be working for me. I can't tell you how much of a life-changer this has been. The vibrations combined with the shallow entry tip have really helped to release muscle tension and make penetration less painful. I was finally able to have penetrative sex for the first time a couple days ago, and I am still in shock. I didn't feel that terrible, sharp, burning feeling that I used to always feel. I'm so grateful and am looking forward to using Kiwi more to help with my progress :)

Perfect multi-use tool for pelvic pain

I love this little kiwi. Not only has it helped with releasing internal fascia and entry pain, it has also helped me feel more comfortable with my body again. It also has helped tremendously on my external pelvic floor muscles, hips, tops of legs (and even jaw pain when my TMJ acts up). Having the ‘beak’ helps target those really tight knots, but having the ‘body’ of the Kiwi helps when that acute pain is too much to handle. I have just about any tool for releasing external muscles and this is the first one that has actually, actually worked. I know the price is a bit high, but I have found the cost to be worth it. To have a multi purpose tool that both relieves pain and is allowing me to reconnect with my sexuality is more I could be asked for. Especially after being in pain for so long (and still being in pain).
