How to Use Kiwi

Kiwi has three specially-designed ends for different kinds of massage. Plus, Kiwi comes with expert-guided video tutorials, so you'll feel supported every step of the way!

How to Use Kiwi

Kiwi comes with expert-guided tutorials, so you'll feel supported every step of the way!

1. Start Broad

Release tension in lower abs, inner thighs, glutes

+

Tension in the butt, belly, and thighs can contribute to internal muscle tension. That's why starting to massage these areas is a great first step, experimenting with different massage ends and vibration.

2. Ride the Bikini Line

Explore around the vulva, clitoris, perineum

+

Stimulation of external ~bits~ can relax the pelvic floor, desensitize pain, and introduce pleasure. Start with the perineum, and explore the labia, clitoris, and other parts of the vulva.

3. Shallow Dive

Ease into penetration at your own pace

+

Shallow insertion with clitoral vibration can re-train your muscles and nervous system, helping you feel safe and comfortable. And that's the goal! To feel comfortable and in control when there's penetration in your play.

The Science Behind the Design

For over a year, our team has spent hundreds of hours researching and collaborating with expert clinicians to make the world's first and only device made to relieve entry pain in a way that feels good.

Therapeutic Vibration

Therapeutic Vibration

Vibration is scientifically proven to help relax the pelvic floor muscles and decrease pain.¹ Plus it feels good!

Mobility Massage

Mobility Massage

Having tight pelvic floor muscles is a known cause of entry pain.²,³ Kiwi has three ends, designed specifically for different kinds of massage and myofascial release.

Birth Prep + Rehab

Birth Prep + Rehab

  • Prenatal perineal stretching can reduce the risk of significant tearing, episiotomy, and long-term postpartum pain.,

  • Perineal massage during birth can reduce the risk of tearing and episiotomy, and may shorten the duration of the 1st and 2nd stages of labor.

  • Postpartum perineal scar tissue massage is a common treatment strategy for post-baby vulvar pain. More studies coming soon!

Solo + Partner Use

Solo + Partner Use

Pleasurable partnered experiences = more desire! And vulvar pleasure (solo or partnered) can mean less anxiety around pain and better overall sexual function.

    Lovely, helpful, and reliable

This device is really helping me manage my vestibulodynia. It helps to feel like I have a tool I can use that reliably helps alleviate the pain. It’s giving me back my autonomy and the control over my body in the bedroom that makes me feel confident and beautiful.

    Approachable and oh so fun

This is the tool/toy anyone with pelvic pain has been waiting for, and honestly in my case, didn’t even know I was waiting for it. Feels like it was made for “my people”, when other tools feel so unsexy and purely utilitarian, and other sex toys feel unapproachable and out of reach. Can confirm - it is fun to use alone or with a partner. This design is wildly cool. Thank you to all who had input on the Kiwi 🥝

    Kiwi for the win!

Everything about the kiwi is incredibly thought out and affirming, and it makes you feel amazing! From the unboxing moment and instructions on how to use it (which basically tells you that there is no wrong way to do it), to the actual application of it to multiple tension and pleasure points in the body, it was a wonderful purchase that has helped me regain confidence to enter back into more regular sex with my partner after feeling more tentative post-birth. I recommend to anyone looking to help with entry pain and a fun and wholesome feeling way to give yourself permission for pleasure and meeting yourself where you are.

Great tool to help with painful sex

I have only used it once so far but I am extremely impressed with the design that went into the Kiwi and the informational pamphlets with it. It is clear they did their research when designing the Kiwi, it works extremely well for helping me address pain that I experience when trying to have sex. I have a lot pain with penetration at entry, and using the more “pointed” tip helps immensely with the vibration to gently overcome that pain, and the “rounded” areas help with massaging in a larger surface area to help release tension. If you are on the fence about buying it I would say take the plunge and get it!
