How to Use Kiwi

Kiwi comes with Pelvic PT-guided video tutorials, so you'll feel supported every step of the way!

How to Use Kiwi

Kiwi comes with expert-guided tutorials, so you'll feel supported every step of the way!

1. Start Broad
Release tension in lower abs, inner thighs, glutes

Tension in the butt, belly, and thighs can contribute to internal muscle tension. That's why massaging these areas is a great place to start, experimenting with 3 massage ends and vibration.

2. Ride the Bikini Line
Explore around the vulva, clitoris, perineum

Stimulation of external ~bits~ can relax the pelvic floor, promote comfort, and introduce pleasure. Start with the perineum, and explore the labia, clitoris, and other parts of the vulva.

3. Shallow Dive
Ease into penetration at your own pace

Shallow insertion with clitoral vibration can help your muscles and nervous system relax. And that's the goal! To feel comfortable and in control.

    Game changer for vaginismus

The kiwi has been such an incredible purchase, I’m beyond thrilled. I have vaginismus and usually have to use a dilator before sex, but the Kiwi is such a huge improvement and has significantly reduced entry pain. Really can’t recommend enough!

    Little toy, powerful motor

I have vaginismus caused by idiopathic vestibulodynia (i.e., unexplained burning pain in the vaginally canal), so my problem is not JUST tight pelvic muscles. As such, I tempered my expectations about how much it would help me. Both motors are VERY powerful - much more powerful than the vibrators I'm used to, at least - which I didn't love at first. I found the intensity of the vibrations actually made dilation harder at first. One of the ads I saw on Instagram described it as "gentle," so that was a little disappointing.

However, the intensity of the vibrations actually had the effect of numbing my vaginal vestibule, which helped with my pain. Probably not the intended use, but it worked. I still wish the lowest vibration settings were gentler, but everyone's issues are unique so your mileage may vary!

    Changed my life

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE KIWI ENOUGH. It has truly changed my life. It’s incredibly easy and approachable to use, FUN, adorable yet discreet and chic thoughtful packaging. The world is a better place now that kiwi is in it and I’m so grateful my PT recommended it! A fabulous tool for anyone with vaginismus or entry pain. I see a pelvic floor therapist and using my kiwi between sessions has helped me make leaps and strides and most importantly — feel EMPOWERED. Thank you pelvic people!!!

This is gonna be on the verge of TMI

I had been unable to have any type of penetration after giving birth 2 years ago. The most I could handle was a tiny bit of a pressure from a paediatric speculum during a visit with my urogynecologist. I had resigned to the idea I would just need to wait another 2+ years (the length of waitlist in my area) until I was able to have a procedure to help control my pelvic pain. After adding the kiwi to my routine of pelvic floor therapy and sex therapy I have been able to make progress and have very shallow entry penetration! I’m sure it is a combination of everything I’ve been working on and potentially hormones balancing out a bit but I am certain the kiwi helped me break through my entry pain. I feel confident I will be able to start with dilators now! Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to wear a tampon again one day!? It is huge for me to feel this hope and have made progress! My mental health has improved greatly and I believe that one day I may even experience pleasure again. Thank you Kiwi creators from one formally frustrated, hopeless human :)
